A poster presentation concerning the stability of biochemical components in blood samples showed that the Tempus600®/GLP robot reception system can be used for transport of the majority of routinely used analytical test. The test was conducted at Lillebælt Hospital, Denmark. 100 patients from the hospitals outpatient clinic were included in the test.
Stability of Biochemical Components in Blood Samples Transported by Tempus600®/GLP Robot Loader
With the use of mini data loggers the quality of samples were measured sending samples with TEMPUS600.
Acceleration forces acting on samples showed not to impact the analytical results. The overall workflow were improved considerably by decreasing hands on time on the ward and in the laboratory.
Findings and results presented at DGKL, 24. – 27. September 2014 in Congress Center Rosengarten, Mannheim, Germany.
A newly conducted study showed that the implementation of TEMPUS600 ensures reduced turn-around-time for laboratory results and hereby faster patient treatment. The study showed that a dedicated single tube transport system of TEMPUS600 reduces time from sampling to ready results from an average of 85 to 48 minutes.
The findings were published at the NFKK 2014 on 16-19 September in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Poster at NFKK 2014 - TEMPUS600 ensures reduced turn-around-time
A poster presentation concerning an investigating of the quality of blood transported by TEMPUS600 compared to manual transport and the benefits of the reduced turn-around-time using the TEMPUS600 system.
